It was pretty good. Both demo cars were automatics, but it was surprisingly snappy and responsive. I can now say that this car would benefit from a turbo - foreign concept going to 7k to make any kind of power. Next up, Mustang and F150. Didn't end up test driving anything else - big autoshow post coming this evening.

Didn't end up Mustanging it up... I'll have a bigger post about the auto show later this evening. I'll hit up Coty for a test drive one of these days - he works at a dealership right up the road from one of my company's satellite offices.

Is that the New England Auto Show? I remember driving an FRS a couple years ago there. Someone was testing a CTS-V at the same time and we got to have a little fun. The CTS-V is slightly faster though haha

It sure is! I think they finally started calling it the Boston Auto Show in some places (eg. domain name), but it's still the New England Auto Show.

I drove the F150 2.7 EcoBoost. I have to say, I was surprised at the power (it only had the teensiest bit of lag) and generally with the rest of the truck. Now - I've been pretty open about my preference for Japanese reliability as I own a 16 year old Taco and it has been impeccable...but looking at the 2005 Taco that Toyota had inside, vs the new Ford, it was enough to make me consider buying one (deal maker: 19 MPG city, 26 MPG highway, for a 4WD truck - that's what I get in my XC70).

A man of my carriage can't into simulator. I'll have to go drive the real thing.
